Chris LeDoux Statue
The story behind the statue
“Just LeDoux It”
Wyoming musician and world-champion bareback rider Chris LeDoux was a veteran of the Cheyenne Frontier Days™ rodeo arena by day, and our main stage at night.
His statue depicts his two great loves—rodeo and music—and pays tribute to the career he built around celebrating the Western way of life.

Created by Wyoming artist D. Michael Thomas, the “Just LeDoux It” memorial bronze was dedicated in 2021, on opening day of the 125th Cheyenne Frontier Days™ celebration—the same year the event was dedicated to LeDoux.
Today, the statue stands proudly on the West side of Frontier Park, facing Hynds Boulevard.
